Status Codes and Errors

rWeb makes use of these standard HTTP status codes:

200 OK Request processed successfully.
201 Created Resource created by request.
202 Accepted Request accepted but processing has not yet been completed.
400 Bad Request The request is invalid.
- The body of the response will consist of a message describing the problem. A 400 error will be generated whenever a more descriptive error can be provided.
401 Unauthorized Insufficient privilege level to process request. Also used if authentication fails.
422 Unprocessable Entity Request was understood, but the action couldn't be processed properly.
- This error is returned when the request is valid, but an error is caused by the combination of parameters that were provided. The body of the request will be a JSON document:
