Alert Config

The Alert Config page is used to configure which alert messages are displayed and sent.

For each type of alert, you can configure the following:

• rWeb UI- Alerts of this type will be displayed in rWeb, primarily as seen on the dashboard.
• Email- Alerts of this type will be sent via email. This requires that an email server be properly configured.
• Syslog- Alerts of this type will be sent via syslog. This requires destination syslog servers to be configured.

rWeb will always send license and victim related alerts. Syslog alerts for victim notifications will follow the same rules as the configuration for email notifications about victims.
