Active Alerts

The Active Alerts page shows all current active alerts related to your devices. You can also directly reach this page by clicking the alert icon in the lower right portion of the screen, which will show the current number of active alerts next to the icon.

The top two sections will display current alerts in two graphs: one showing alerts by device, and one showing total alerts by severity.

The table below will have the full list of active alerts. You can use the Search section to look for a specific alert.

Each row in the table is one alert, with the following information:

  • Severity- This will either be notice (informational alert that does not impact operations), warning (alert that has the potential to impact operations), or error (an alert about something that is currently impacting operations.
  • Name- The name of the device generating the alert. Clicking the hyperlink will take you the relevant screen that is associated with that alert (e.g. the licensing tab for license errors).
  • Code- The specific code representing the alert.
  • Event- User friendly description of the alert code.
  • Date/Time- The date and time the alert was generated.
  • Ack by- If a user acknowledges the alert, the username will be listed here.
  • Act at- If a user acknowledges the alert, the time of acknowledgement will be shown here.
  • Ack- Clicking this checkbox will acknowledge the alert. Acknowledged alerts will record the user and time of acknowledgement, and no longer be listed as a "new" alert on the main dashboard.
