Report Templates

There are several reports available in rWeb, broken down into a few different categories: Recurring, Manual, Billing, and Victim.

Recurring

Recurring reports are designed to be run on a regular schedule, and show data accordingly. The different types are daily, weekly, and monthly.

Recurring reports can be scheduled to run automatically based on their type. You can also run a recurring report instantly, in cases where you want to examine data without waiting for the next schedule period, or for cases where you did not have a report scheduled and want to examine a historical period of time.

Recurring reports can be run on either groups or zones.

Manual

Manual reports will show the same information as Recurring reports, but the time period in the report can be arbitrarily defined. This is useful for cases where you want to see a time range that is not a day, week or month (e.g. two weeks, two months, etc).

Because Manual reports require arbitrary start and end times, you can only run them instantly.

Like Recurring reports, Manual reports can be run on either groups or zones.

Billing

Billing reports are run on a monthly basis. They are designed to show the exact amounts of attack traffic detected and dropped, with a listing of all victims by attack type that occur within the reporting window.

Billing reports are primarily designed to be run on groups, as it will show a breakdown of activity by zone, but you can also run a billing report on a single zone.

Victim

Victim reports are run based on current or historical victims. Because they require a victim, they can't be scheduled, but are only generated by examining a victim and clicking Make Report.
